Anne Agostinelli has taught upper elementary and middle grades mathematics since 2005. She enjoys the energy problem solving evokes in teachers and students, and is excited to help facilitate the behind-the-scenes work of CMTC this year with her furry sidekick, Groot.
Laura Kaplan has been teaching high school math since 2000, currently teaching Geometry and AP Statistics in Wilmette. She has long been passionate about problem solving and talking math. Helping out behind the scenes is a fun and rewarding way to share the experience with others.
Karl Liechty has been a math professor at DePaul University since 2014. He teaches all kinds of math classes at DePaul, and loves hearing about interesting problems and talking about them with anyone who will listen.
Casey McLeodhas been with Chicago Public Schools since 2002. She has experience teaching both middle school math and high school algebra 1. Currently she works as a math specialist and IB Coordinator at Josephine Locke Elementary.
Carmen Rovi has been a professor at Loyola University Chicago since 2021 where she teaches lots of fun math classes. She also has a degree in piano performance, and was a music teacher and then the principal at a high school in Spain.
Peter Tingleyhas been a professor at Loyola University Chicago since 2012, where he teaches a wide range of math classes. He has been involved in math circles since 2006, and has run sessions in 6 different circles. Most of all, he loves to solve problems!
